Starting with a meeting with Véronique Rugland

Happy New Year 2026!! Starting with a meeting with Véronique Rugland

19 janvier 2026

Building on the experiences of the past two years, both socially and professionally, we expect the new year to bring its share of uncertainties and unforeseen situations. Yet, we seem to know how to adapt to change!

Guided by the motto Carpe Diem, we are excited to help our clients achieve their dreams in 2026—whether it’s buying their dream house or apartment on the French Riviera, or selling a property—helping them reach an important milestone. Here’s to a successful and joyful 2026!

A day with Véronique

6:30 a.m. As every morning, Véronique Rugland rises before dawn. A coffee, a few slices of toast, and then a walk with her dogs in the Valbonne forest. The calm, the scent of pine, the morning silence… this unchanging ritual has anchored her day for twenty-three years.

7:45 a.m. Back home, she opens her laptop and checks her emails. Clients from yesterday, new inquiries, ongoing files. She organizes, replies, reassures. The day can officially begin.

9:00 a.m. – Two weeks of preparation for a decisive meeting

For the past two weeks, Véronique has been working with a Norwegian couple searching for a sunny pied-à-terre. She has selected, visited, and compared properties. Fifteen days of back-and-forth, scouting, and essential checks. She isn’t looking for “a property”—she is searching for their property, a gem that truly suits them. This morning is the big day: they are finally arriving.

10:30 a.m. – Valbonne, Biot… and a story begins

Véronique meets them warmly, always precise and punctual. She decides to start by showing them Valbonne: its stone streets, its gentle pace, its family-friendly charm. Then Biot, with its artisanal workshops and more intimate allure. She knows that buying a property is as much about the location as the walls. Only then does she show them the carefully selected villas. She lets them imagine living there. By the third villa, she realises before they do: this is the one.

4:00 p.m. – An obvious decision

Seated around a terrace table, the couple exchange glances. No long speeches are needed: they feel it. The villa has everything—they feel at home. Véronique guides them through the process, answers every question, and ensures each step is secure. The acquisition is confirmed, and in their eyes, she reads the simple joy of finding a “home” on the French Riviera.

From Oslo to the French Riviera: Why our client buy in Juan-les-Pins and Cannes?

With offices in Oslo, Juan-les-Pins, and Cannes, we assist numerous Norwegians each year with their real estate projects on the French Riviera. Many discover the region on holiday… and leave with the same thought: “Why not buy here?” Whether it’s an apartment, a house, or a villa, the desire quickly becomes reality.

Practical and attractive cities

Antibes, Cannes, and Nice are not just about sun and sea. Our clients particularly value safety, high-quality services, and excellent infrastructure and transport. These factors are crucial when browsing properties on the French Riviera and managing a home remotely from Oslo. Most clients look for a bright apartment on the French Riviera, ideally with a terrace or sea view. Others prefer houses or villas, often in quiet neighbourhoods but close to shops and local life.

Buying with confidence

Purchasing a property on the French Riviera requires preparation: notary, taxation, co-ownership regulations… The French system can surprise those coming from the north. We ensure every step is clear and secure. With our three offices, we stay close to you. We invite you to buy with AAA for professional guidance.
